Another great place to visit or take a class tour is Oregon Dairy. They have tours for groups and this year is the dairy will include lessons plans about your trip. The following is copied from their web site at

Oregon Dairy offers Store
& Farm Tours to non-profit organizations and schools from March
through October. Tours are scheduled for Tuesdays & Wednesdays &
Thursdays from 9 am till 2pm.
Tour cost is $4.00 per person and the complete tour takes about 2 hours. Minimum needed for tour is 10 people.
New
for 2013 - Oregon Dairy will provide teachers with a link to tour
curriculum. This will help in planning your pre-trip lessons and also
your post-trip lessons.
